Shanna Jacklin has been with C.H.A.P.S. for a number of years, a keen
eye and the PR head with Dave. Recently put in charge of the newly
opened Eastern Team office in Ottawa, in her own words
"Growing up, I did experienced a few
unexplainable events, but it wasn't until I saw my deceased
grandmother standing over my father on the night of her death that I
took it seriously. I have a sincere open-minded interest in the
paranormal, and can honestly say that my curiosity for what I might
learn or experience on an investigation takes away from any fear of
the unknown I thought I would have had. As a compassionate person, I find it so rewarding to
know that we are here to provide information, help, support, and
comfort to people who are experiencing paranormal activity."

make, so he can pick out such symptoms in a home with ease. Dan has

JEFF LIVESEY- CHAPS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIST
I graduated from Algonquin College,
in Ottawa, Canada in 1999, and have been an IT specialist
for 11 years, working in a large organization. I
joined C.H.A.P.S. because my wife told me to. Just
kidding, I have always believed and had interest in
"The Other Side." We can thank The Exorcist, Amityville,
Poltergeist, and more recently The Others for this. I
personally have not yet had an experience that I know of, but have
witnessed some unusual things like "The Balloon" for example (check out my
story in our
Your Stories page.)
My wife joined C.H.A.P.S. and met these amazing people, all sharing
the same interest in the paranormal, and they needed an IT guy.
It was a great opportunity for me to contribute my expertise to C.H.A.P.S.
and in return, I hope to "experience" a paranormal event.... I am
truly honoured to be a part of this group.

John Tallon started with the team as a guest in the fall of 2009,
since that time he has amassed a number of investigations. Semi
retired from the Canadian Armed forces he remains a reservist. His
profession as an aircraft mechanic also gives him a perception of
the noises that can occur physically and makes him an asset to the
technical team. A resident of Pembroke John has consistently been
the 1st to jump on any investigation anywhere and we were proud to
make him a full time member of the team November of 2010.
John is a natural dramatic ham, which helps the tired mood on any
investigation.

SYDNEY MCGHEE - INVESTIGATOR
Sydney McGhee is our youngest member, just out of high school she
had submitted a video interview for us that showed her
professionalism. Sydney is a quieter investigator who prefers the
background but in her element when doing solo work. Sydney is beyond
her years for maturity and likely takes more ribbing from other
members of the team due to her age. Being a good sport she fit in
well with our crew. |
